Agoraphobia. A Haiku Poem.

Alone protects me
Shelter from anxiety
These four walls are safe

Can’t come out tonight
Doesn’t play well with others
Solo campaigner

Paralysed with fear
But who can guess the reason?
Certainly, I can’t

Today’s to-do list
Normality overwhelms
Into inertia

Taking a deep breath
I can fight through one more day
One step at a time
