A Gruesome crime mystery.
During a Brighton Tattoo Exhibition, Marni Mullins discovers a body. Someone is targeting people with specific tattoos, and then flaying and killing them. Focusing on Marni throughout the narrative, you get the perspective of how her trade is considered amongst certain members of society; how her home life and relationships are, and how she becomes entangled in the crimes whilst trying to help the police.
An intriguing murder mystery, with an added gore-element. An example of the normalcy of body art, and the high status of certain artists in the field.
