Dragons have long since disappeared from the human world. They were historically enslaved by humans. Now they live in a hidden land, safe. Yoshiko is a young dragon with a secret. He was born different, possibly special. Growing up different can be hard, and Yoshiko has to learn whether he has a purpose, and if he can fulfil it in time to save the Dragon clans?
Yoshiko has to put up with the typical jokes and teasing from friends and peers. Whereas some of elders have more wisdom to impart, and set young Yoshiko on a path of discovery.
Aimed at the younger reader, this little fantasy tale is a typical coming of age story. Learning that in most cases, bullies are themselves insecure, and that you have to find what you yourself are best at to make your own way in the world.
